Mysore Excursion – Conference Day Trip

Join us for a full-day excursion to the historic city of Mysore, known for its royal heritage, architecture, and cultural richness. Participants will travel together from IISc and enjoy guided visits to two iconic landmarks.

Departure from IISc:

8:00 AM sharp from the conference venue
Breakfast: Packed meal provided to eat on the bus

🏰 Stop 1: Mysore Palace

Arrival: 10:30 AM
Visit Duration: Entry → exploration → exit by 1:00 PM
One of India’s most magnificent royal residences, renowned for its Indo-Saracenic architecture.

🍽️ Lunch Break

1:15 PM – 2:15 PM
Venue and meal details will be provided on the bus.

🏛️ Stop 2: Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace

Arrival: 3:00 PM
Visit Duration: Entry → tour → exit by 4:30 PM
A beautiful teakwood palace reflecting the life and legacy of Tipu Sultan.

🚌 Return to IISc

Arrival: ~7:00 PM

🍛 Dinner at IISc

7:30 PM

Wear comfortable footwear; both locations involve walking.
